On March 24th , one piece of news was published on the National Immigration Administration (NIA) website regarding the deportation of four foreigners entering China who disobeyed the policy on quarantine of 14 days.

Quoting NIA’s announcement on 28th March
In view of the rapid spread of COVID-19 across the world, China has decided to temporarily suspend the entry into China by foreign nationals holding visas or residence permits still valid to the time of this announcement, effective from 0 a.m., 28 march 2020.
鉴于新冠肺炎在世界范围内的迅速传播，中国决定自2020年3月28日凌晨0点起，暂停持本公告发布之时仍然有效的签证或居留许可的外国人进入中国。
Entry by foreign nationals with APEC Business Travel Cards will be suspended as well.
持亚太经合组织商务旅游卡的外国人也将被暂停入境。
Policies including port visas, 24/72/144-hour visa-free transit policy, Hainan 30-day visa-free policy, 15-day visa-free policy specified for foreign cruise-group-tour through Shanghai Port, Guangdong 144-hour visa-free policy specified for foreign tour groups from Hong Kong or Macao SAR, and Guangxi 15-day visa-free policy specified for foreign tour groups of ASEAN countries will also be temporarily suspended.
口岸签证、24/72/144小时过境免签政策、海南30天免签政策、经上海口岸规定的外国邮轮团体游15天免签政策、广东对港澳特别行政区外国旅行团规定的144小时免签政策、广西对东盟国家外国旅游团规定的15天免签政策也将暂时暂停。
Entry with diplomatic, service, courtesy or C visas will not be affected.
持外交签证、公务签证、礼遇签证或C签证入境不受影响。
Foreign nationals coming to China for necessary economic, trade, scientific or technological activities or out of emergency humanitarian needs may apply for visas at Chinese embassies or consulates.
外国公民来华从事必要的经济、贸易、科技活动或者紧急人道主义需要，可以向中国驻华使领馆申请签证。
Entry by foreign nationals with visas issued after this announcement will not be affected.
持本公告后签发签证的外国人入境不受影响。

▍Foreigners in China to renew their visa
For those who have been in China with a valid visa that is about to expire have to go to immigration office to renew their visa. The authorities will renew the visa according to the current situation.
对于那些持即将到期的有效签证来中国的人，必须到移民局续签。当局将根据目前的情况续签签证。
For those who could not renew in time due to actual difficulties caused by the epidemic, immigration offices shall be alleviate the penalties. By all means, contact immigration office, or your agent to find out the latest updates on your visa.

▍International flight terminated in Beijing redirect
Now all international flights destined to Beijing are redirect to designated port of entry in the bellowing cities, Tianjin, Shijiazhuang, Taiyuan, Hohhot, Shanghai Pudong, Jinan, Qingdao, Nanjing, Shenyang, Dalian, Zhengzhou and Xián.
现在，所有飞往北京的国际航班都被重新定向到天津、石家庄、太原、呼和浩特、上海浦东、济南、青岛、南京、沈阳、大连、郑州和西安这几个城市的指定入境口岸。
You can check with your airline to find out the first entry city of your flight. All passengers will go through quarantine inspections and process entry procedure. Passengers who had been to high risk countries may have to go further quarantine.
